I was too hungry today when I went through the drive-thru,
and when the guy asked if I wanted it super-sized,
I was practically, "yes, yes, dear god yes!"

Ever had one of those days where you just want to be comforted?
Like, it would just make your day amazing if someone would just say,
"I like you alot"
"I think youre the prettiest girl I've ever seen!"
"I'm glad I'm with you"
"Everything's gonna be A-ok"
"Don't worry about money, you'll be allright"
"You are competent"
"Go get em tiger!"
I don't know, just something. Anything. But no one says anything remotely close to comforting. Even a last ditch effort to actually somehow manipulate people to say something comforting does not work. (Which I guess wouldn't have felt as good as a spontaneous thing anyway...) It would have been amazing.
Sometimes you just need a little pat on the back, or a hug or something. Oh well.

I really need to get new fish...

Ok, so this elicited some stares.
I have been reading online about spinning. Supposedly it is supposed to be cheap and inexpensive, and the idea of creating my own yarn fascinates me. Not only would I have made the scarf or whatever, but also the yarn? Thats amazing. I've seen pictures of yarns that people have made on their own, and it's incredible. I want to one day be able to do this. Some people really get into it, buying sheep, llamas, and even rabbits for their wool...and fur....
And here's where my brother thought it was weird.

My cat is of the fluffy variety. A regular poofball of fur. He walks around, and I can literally see a trail of fur floating in the air behind him. And a thought struck me. I was afraid it was too weird so I looked it up.

Pet fur, cats, dogs, etc, is legitimately used in spinning circles. If you're going to brush your pet, and have a lot of fur left behind, why not use it for creating yarn? Most people also mix it with wool, its not straight pet hair yarn, but the stuff I've seen is pretty neat-o. So I gave him a good brushing, and voila! I already have a good bit of fur stuffed away in a gallon ziploc baggie.

Weird? Yes, maybe, but it also makes sense, and if I am able to spin it into a yarn, might just turn out rather cool.
